December, Holiday season, and yet another year cruises through to its end. Wow so I've had tons of stuff on my mind lately. Looking into eco-villages and sustainable living, gardening and the like lately. Mostly due to my ever growing despise of having to drive to an office to earn money to pay for bills, mortgage, utilities, etc... There is no 'free' land any longer like in the settling days of the US. I doubt there exists land not owned by some entity in the world today.
Today's "civilized" world, and civilized is quoted because this is purely subjective, is bound to their governments by consumption of crap that the media and the Johnson's say we need. commercialism has taken over living and raising families. Somehow we've gotten to this place where we "need" the newest I PAD, or Droid touchscreen phone, X box or whatever the newest and coolest item of the year is.
Is there a medium area between industrialized life, commercialism and living more in harmony with the planet? I don't know, but honestly i'm currently not doing anything to find out at this point in time. I could spurt out various reasons, also known as excuses but the bottom line is that I know there are small things I could be doing to reduce my individual footprint.
start my own gardens.
harvest rain water for irrigation.
compost and recycle unused food waste.
build and install some sort of wind power generator
build and install some sort of solar power source.
harvest seeds from the vegetables that are grown from the garden.
etc, more to come late, or not...
This is the Description, i'm not sure yet how to describe it so... there you have it.

Not related
well it's been over a week since I've posted anything here mostly due to being pretty busy with life in general.
Daniel has been training at a football camp all last week and this week he is working out at the highschool with the football coaches. He really seems to be enjoying working out and getting ready for football season this year.
i'm pretty busy at the moment between working out, eating 6 meals a day for the most part and trying to spend some time honing my drawing skills. Maybe if i'm pleased with a drawing i'll post up a picture of one at some point.
later for now.

Workout Week Summary
This week has been a pretty good week of working out so far. Here is a brief recap of the week as of Thursday Morning.
Monday: Chest and Tricep workout;
Dips super-set with Kettlebell snatches
pushups super-set with KB pullovers on a swiss ball
tricep extensions
feet raised pushups
Tuesday: Cardio day;
2 mile interval run, it was super hot and not the best day to run outside at 5 pm but we drank plenty of water before and after the run.
Wednesday: Leg day;
double KB squats super-set with manual resistance leg curls.
KB lunges super-set with calf raises
Short Sprints, hops, single leg bounds.
Thursday: Today is a cardio day and it is suppose to be pretty hot outside so we may just hit the elliptical machine we have and do some ab work as well.
Friday: tomorrow will be back / bicep day, not decided if we will include shoulders or do them separately on Saturday yet....

Tattoo Tuesday
Today is the day Renee goes back to the tattoo shop to hopefully get her coverup tattoo finished! She'll be heading there straight from work this evening and I may or may not meet her there to see how it's going. Either way I'll post some pictures of the finished product either tonight or tomorrow for anyone interested in seeing how it has turned out.
See this earlier post for the first session of work. http://whatsallthisreally.blogspot.com/2010/06/tattoo-envy-jealousy.html
***Updated with Pictures***
not quite done yet but here are some updated pictures of some more shading and coloring after a couple hours or work tonight...
